Industrial Engineer - Continuous Improvement

We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer, Continuous Improvement to help build and optimize a world?class manufacturing operation. This role focuses on Lean Manufacturing, line balancing, cycle?time improvement, training, and driving process excellence across the plant.
Location: Warsaw, Indiana
Pay: $115 - $130K + 7% Bonus
Relocation: $10,000 (50+ miles)
Equity: Stock options included
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5S expertise and Master Black Belt required.
• 5+ years Industrial Engineering experience (automotive preferred; industrial manufacturing required).
• Lean Manufacturing and process optimization experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; VISIO and Minitab preferred.
• Strong communication and cross?functional teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workstation design, takt time, line balancing, and material flow improvements.
• Conduct time studies, PFMEA support, standardized work, and launch readiness.
• Lead Kaizen events and CI projects; champion 5S and Lean tools.
• Facilitate training (classroom and on?the?floor).
• Perform root?cause analysis and apply Six Sigma/DMAIC.
• Use AI/digital tools for modeling and capacity planning.
• Develop KPI dashboards (OEE, throughput, scrap, productivity).
• Maintain documentation for capacity studies, line balancing, and CI results.
